Joy & Wonder in Classical Catholic Education

Catholic education has long been a beacon of hope, guiding students to discover not only academic excellence but also the deeper truths of life, faith, and purpose. In a world filled with distractions and competing narratives, the mission of authentically Catholic schools stands as a vital compass—forming students in the image of Christ and helping them pursue the true, the good, and the beautiful.

In his recent pastoral letter, The Joy and Wonder of Catholic Education: Developing Authentically Catholic Schools, Bishop Conley explores the profound impact of Catholic education and how it can shape hearts, minds, and communities for the glory of God. Dive into this reflection on what it means to foster an education that is not only academically rigorous but spiritually transformative.

On January 18th Chesterton Academy of St. Louis will host its first annual St. Louis Classical Education Symposium. This year's theme is Cor Ad Cor "Teaching to the Heart", and we are honored to have Bishop Conley as our keynote speaker. Through an inspiring day of Mass, breakout sessions, and immersion sessions we hope to explore, in a practical way, how to achieve the Joy and Wonder of a Catholic education in our our homes and our schools.
