Boom.
Goal met.
When we launched our fundraising campaign, we set forth to raise 100% of our tuition gap (the difference between our annual budget and annual tuition revenue) by the end of our fiscal year, which is June 30, 2023. Our goal is to establish a secure financial position and ensure the school avoids any cash flow issues during the school year before the doors ever open.
The tuition gap for the 2023-2024 school year is $350,000. We are overjoyed to announce to you that we have met and surpassed our goal, and the month is not even over yet!
I would maintain that thanks are the highest form of thought; and that gratitude is happiness doubled by wonder.
G.K. Chesterton
We took a leap of faith when we announced our intention to open Chesterton Academy of St. Louis. We stepped forward believing that there are enough people of good will who believe in the importance of an authentic classical education and want to invest in something that produces real, lasting, tangible results: namely, young people who know Christ, love the Church, and radiate the genius of our Catholic tradition. YOU proved us right!
The St. Louis community and beyond showed up when we asked for financial support. We have 28 founders who have donated $5000 or more to lay a strong foundation for Chesterton Academy of St. Louis. In addition, we have over 120 friends who have shown their support with various levels of giving. Every dollar we have received is a vote of confidence in the mission of Chesterton Academy of St. Louis.
This is a unique moment in the story of Chesterton Academy of St. Louis and your last opportunity to make a donation as a founder. All gifts of $5,000 or more made by June 30, 2023, will be considered founding donations and will be acknowledged on the Founders Wall at the school. All founders and their intentions will be remembered in our school Masses every Friday.
