Chesterton Academy Partnership with Franciscan University of Steubenville Makes College More Affordable
A unique partnership was formed April 8, 2022 between Franciscan University of Steubenville and the Chesterton Schools Network, creating the Franciscan Advantage program which allows junior and senior Chesterton students to earn college credit through Franciscan University.
Students can enroll concurrently in partnership courses and earn transferable college credit from Franciscan University after passing college-level exams. The program will begin this year with philosophy and theology courses and expand to other disciplines for up to 36 credit hours in the future.
