Nathan Schlueter is Professor of Philosophy and Religion at Hillsdale College and Director of the pre-law program. He is the author or editor of three books and his articles have appeared in First Things, Touchstone, Logos, Communio, Public Discourse and Perspectives in Political Science. He is a recipient of Hillsdale College’s “Daugherty Award for Teaching Excellence” and the teacher of the popular online Hillsdale course “Introduction to Western Philosophy.” He is also a member of the Bishop’s Commission on Catholic Social Teaching. He and his wife Elizabeth have nine children.
