This week-long program combines learning social confidence, good manners, and social dancing. Etiquette Saint Louis will provide their expertise on the subjects of small talk, how to make introductions, phone etiquette, attire, party manners and table manners. Students will be introduced to traditional and current dances including the waltz, the salsa, swing dance, and current line dances.

This week of learning concludes with a formal multi-course dinner-dance the following Tuesday evening. Classes held at Chesterton Academy for classes, dinner dance at Marriot West County.

**We must meet a minimum number of students by May 1st to host this event.

Drama Camp

Monday-Friday, July 13-17
9 am-Noon

Mrs. Romine is hosting a middle school drama camp to give students skills or polish the ones that they are already developing in regards to acting and comedic timing. The camp will focus on prayer and a relationship with God that then influences how we bring the words to life and put them on stage for an audience’s enjoyment. Students will be part of at least one skit and an improvised scene.

Skills that they will take away from in this camp:

  • Prayer and acting work together
  • Listening and reacting
  • Ensemble in comedy
  • Building a character for comedic sketches
  • Assisting in set assembly

Sports & Fitness Camp

Campers will learn and play a variety of sports including Ultimate Frisbee, Soccer, Basketball, and Volleyball (all sports currently offered at Chesterton Academy) in addition to Athletic Performance & Strength Building Exercises. Sports & Fitness Camp will be led by our Athletic Director, Dave Reddy with other Chesterton coaches and current student-athletes.

 

Dates: Boys - M-Th, June 15-18  |  Girls - M-Th, June 22-25

Times: 6 - 8 pm

Grades: Rising 6th, 7th, 8th, & 9th graders
