Placement Exam

As our placement exam date for 2023 applicants has past, new applicants may submit previously taken CLT8 scores or plan to take the parent-proctored CLT8 online March 7th or May 9th. This test serves as a benchmark for growth year to year.

All incoming freshmen and sophomores are required to take a placement exam, Classic Learning Test (CLT8), as part of the application and enrollment process. The placement exam is one of the tools we use to ensure students are placed in the appropriate section of math, and to help identify areas of academic strengths and opportunities for growth. Students must complete an admissions application prior to the placement exam.

Testing will take place on January 14th, 2023 at St. John Bosco. Please arrive by 8:30 to check in and plan to remain until noon. If you are taking the optional Latin section, plan to stay until 12:30 pm.

Students should bring pencils and a snack. No calculators will be allowed for this test. More details will be sent out closer to the test date.
